Mr. Thando Mhlambiso

A.B. in Biology (Brown University), M.B.A. in Finance (Columbia Business School) and J.D. (Columbia Law School). Thando has been a
founding trustee of E² from March 2007 and, until he joined Allan Gray Limited in August 2010 as an executive director, was E²'s founding
chairman. He is a director of Allan Gray Limited, charged with expanding the firm into new products and into new markets across the rest of
Africa. Since 1986, he has worked in corporate finance law, investment banking and private equity in the United States and South Africa.
Thando has served as vice-chairman of council of University of Cape Town, as a trustee and chairman of the investment committee of National Empowerment Fund and as non-executive director of Allan Gray Limited.
Mr. Mahesh Cooper
Trustee
With 9 years' experience in asset management and actuarial consulting in South Africa, Mahesh is an
Executive Director of Allan Gray Group Limited, Allan Gray Limited, and Allan Gray International. He
also serves as a trustee of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation.
At Allan Gray Limited, Mahesh is Joint Head of Institutional Client Servicing as well as Head of Orbis Client Servicing in Southern Africa. He has served as a Senior Actuarial Consultant of Medscheme, as an Associate Director of Alexander Forbes Asset Consultants, and as an Actuarial Assistant of Momentum Life.
Mahesh earned a B.BusSci in Actuarial Studies from the University of Cape Town and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (UK).
